Help us create world‑class Rocket League content for thousands of players around the world.
We’re building a small, serious team of long‑form video essay editors who care about craft, storytelling, and making genuinely useful content for Rocket League players. If you want real ownership over projects and to share in the upside when a video performs, you’re in the right place.
We want this to be a win‑win for everyone involved. Here’s what editors who have worked with Luke have shared about their experience. You are welcome to explore their websites and profiles.
A few examples of the style, pacing, and quality we aim for on the channel.
We’re looking for long‑form video essay editors who love Rocket League, care about storytelling, and want to grow with a creator who takes the craft seriously. You should be comfortable owning a project from raw footage to a polished 10–20 minute YouTube video, and excited to help us make the best educational Rocket League content on the internet.
We want editors who take real ownership of each project, so we pay more than just a flat fee. You get a strong base rate per video, and when a project performs, you share directly in the ad revenue it generates.
Base Pay
Typically $250–$500 USD per 10–20 minute video essay, depending on video length and experience.
Revenue share
On top of that, you earn 20–40% of the ad revenue that video generates for the first 3–6 months after it’s published.
For strong performers, total pay of $500–$1,000+ per video is realistic, and in some cases, more if the video significantly outperforms.
The better your edits do, the more you make. If you help the channel grow, you directly share in that growth.
Here’s a simple example showing how much a video editor can make from one video. This setup rewards editors for both their work and the success of the content.
$300
Base pay for a 15–20 minute video
150,000
Views in the first few months, generating ≈ $1,000 channel ad revenue
$300
30% share (middle of the 20–40% range)
On bigger videos, and at the higher end of the 20–40% range, that upside is even higher.
If this sounds like a fit, we’d love to see your best work. Fill out the application form below and we’ll reach out if there’s a match.
